“We do.” Daddy leaned over and kissed my head as we stopped at what I thought was the linen closet. “He even figured out what you wanted for dinner.”

I’d have praised Carrick’s cooking so he’d do it again, but I forgot all about that when he opened the door. “No, Daddy. I touched the sheets. I did.”

I knew mages were magey.

I’d touched the sheets and even looked behind the towels to make sure Carrick hadn’t put Narnia back there.

He was so sneaky.

Ugh, mages.

Carrick was looking very proud of himself as he reached into the linen closet and lifted up the two middle shelves, pushing them toward the ceiling. Once they started moving on some kind of track, the other shelves poofed and disappeared.

“Daddy, that’s cheating.” I should’ve checked all of them.

Ugh, what if the sneaky mage had stuff in his dresser or the closet with his clothes and I just hadn’t found it because I hadn’t touched everything.

Daddy’s face scrunched up as Carrick made a pleased, happy sound. “You were snooping through his house, monkey. So I don’t think you can call him hiding something cheating.”

Bullshit.

“It’s my dungeon, Daddy, and he fixed it so even if I touched the stuff, I’d have never figured it out. That is the definition of cheating.” Yep, I was going to have to go through and touch everything…there was no way of getting around it, and even Boyd wouldn’t be able to tell me it was rude.

“We’ll have to work on that definition, but I don’t think this is the time to be accusing Carrick of cheating.” Daddy looked down at me and raised one eyebrow.

He might’ve had a point.

“Our mate is very smart.” We were just going to have to train him to use his brains for good, not evil. “And a very good mage.”

That part was actually true because all he did was mumble and wave his hand and instead of the back of the closet, suddenly there was a room.

My dungeon!

But I was patient and polite, and I waited until Carrick went through what used to be the closet and Daddy waved me forward before walking through the doorway.

Carrick had made it clear that only polite boys got spanked, so I was going to do my best to be good at least fifty-one percent of the time.

“Oh, Carrick.” My dungeon was beautiful. “It’s perfect.”

And obviously mine.

The walls were painted black, giving the room a true sex dungeon feel, but instead of leaving the walls flat, he’d put glitter into the paint. The room sparkled like diamonds were embedded in the walls and it only got better as we stepped deeper into it.

Low lighting that might’ve actually been magically produced came up from the edges of the floor and pink accents dotted the room. Of course, they were sparkly too but it was actually very subtle and understated as only the perfect pink could be.

“My room is beautiful.” And so sparkly. “Can I look at everything?”

Carrick nodded regally, but Daddy laughed. “I think you mean touch.”

Well, maybe.

“I’m going to be polite and ask before I touch, even though it’s my room. Master Carrick is in charge in here, so it’s only right.” I knew the rules even though it was my first dungeon. “Just like you’re in charge in my playroom, Daddy.”

I bet he had a perfect one for me.

We’d have to move it to my house eventually, but that was okay because our mate was magic and he could make moving easy.

But playroom discussions would have to wait because I wasn’t sure Daddy wanted to mix that conversation with sex stuff.

His eyes had gone very wide and I didn’t want to make him uncomfortable. So I held out my hand and gave him a big smile as Carrick just stood there looking very proud of himself. “Come look with me, Daddy. Then you won’t be scared.”

Had he ever been in a dungeon?

“Thank you, monkey.” Daddy smiled without making it clear what he was worried about, but I knew that holding my hand would make it better.

I was his little and that was just how it worked…even Kenzie’s Daddy had said so.

“You’re welcome, Daddy.” Still trying to look happy smiley and not greedy smiley, I started walking Daddy around the room so he could get used to my dungeon. “See, I have a Saint Andrew’s cross, and Master Carrick can tie me to it and flog me. I’ll like that a lot even if I make sounds that might make you nervous.”

Daddy seemed like the happy sort of Dom who’d worry and forget he was a Dom too, so I wasn’t surprised when he let out a breath and nodded. “Yes, this might make me nervous, but I know you’ll make sure we know your limits and you’ll communicate with Carrick very well.”
